About Us

Galway City Partnership offers a range of supports under the following programmes:

Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP), TÚS Programme, Youth Advocacy Service, Galway Migrant Service, Local Employment Network Service, Bridge Project, Healthy Galway, Local Employment Service Network (LESN). The programmes come under the 3 types of supports for Unemployed, Education and Community.

Galway City Partnership (GCP) Staff Protest 005Galway City Partnership is a local and community development company working in Galway City. We have been in existence since 1996 and our aim is to tackle disadvantage and social exclusion – and focus particularly on those who are long term unemployed.

Galway City Partnership Mission Statement:

‘To tackle disadvantage and social exclusion, with a particular emphasis on those currently or in danger of becoming long-term unemployed; To enhance our target groups capacity to contribute fully to their own and their communities sustainable development.’

Our role in the development of innovative, flexible programmes to meet the needs of our specific groups and individuals.

We work strategically with local agencies and groups to ensure that mainstreaming of successful projects becomes a reality while enabling the lessons learned to positively influence policy at all levels.
