Employment Supports under SICAP aims to get a person job ready to enter the Labour Market.
We offer one-to-one support in CV building&Interview Preparation.We take a one-to-one approach to tailor to everyindividual’s needs depending on the role they are applying for.
Additionally, SICAPoffer Labour Market Training, these are coursescan specifically benefit people to access employment. The courses are run throughout the year and vary for month to month and include.
Manual Handling:
The manual handling course is a half day course that is aimed at employees at all levels who may undertake manual handling operations. When the course is complete the person receives an industry certified certificate for three years from the date, they complete the course.
Safe Pass:
Safe Pass is a one-day health and safety awareness programme. The aim of the programme is to improve your knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards and practices in the construction industry. Safe Pass Registration Cards are issued for four years.
Barista:
Barista is a one-day course with an additional 3-hour online component. When you successfully complete it, you will be qualified to work in all coffee shops.
