SOCIAL INCLUSION WEEK IN WESTSIDE 2013
As part of Galway City 2013 Social Inclusion Week, you are all invited to an Open Day themed “Know Your Community” to celebrate your participation, equality and an all inclusive community in Westside.
The aim of the week is to highlights social inclusion initiatives that are taking place locally and to highlights poverty and social exclusion issues both locally and nationally. We have heard and shared your past achievements in ensuring an all inclusive community in Westside by collective efforts through the residence associations, local community groups or as an individual.
As a result we would be privileged and delighted to have you and/or representative of your group present to celebrate your participation and provide opportunity to newer members of the community to find out about you, your works and to encourage their participation in ensuring an all inclusive community at the Open Day themed “Know Your Community” on Thursday 17th October, 2013 from 10.00am to 1.00pm in Westside Library.
We hope that at least two representatives from your residence association or estate, local community group will be on desk on Thursday 17th to meet other/newer members of the community to celebrate your participation. The day will be graced with Snooker Hours by Westside Men’s Group from 10.00am to 12.00pm in Westside Resource Centre and some light refreshments! Every individual, representative and members of group/associations are welcome!!
