What is SICAP?
SICAP is the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme. It aims to reduce poverty and promote social inclusion and equality.
Who is in charge of my data (information)?
The following share control of your data (information):
  • The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht
  • The Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science
  • Your Local Community Development Committee
How long is my data kept?
The information you share with us is stored confidentially for 7 years after the end of the programme.
What is the lawful basis for using my data?
The lawful basis relied on for processing your data is called the Public Task [Article 6(1)e] of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For data such as information on disability and ethnic background, the lawful basis relied on is in [GDPR Article 9(2)b].
How do I know my rights?
