The SICAP (Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme) Supporting New Arrivals service is designed to help individuals and families who are new to Galway City navigate life in Ireland and settle into the local community.
Key Supports
- One-to-one support with a SICAP development worker
- English language support and referral to classes
- Guidance on housing, health, education, and employment
- Assistance with CVs, job applications, and training
- Community information sessions and networking opportunities
- Help registering with services such as PPSN, GP, and social welfare
