SICAP Supporting New Arrivals

About

The SICAP (Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme) Supporting New Arrivals service is designed to help individuals and families who are new to Galway City navigate life in Ireland and settle into the local community.

The service provides practical support, information, and guidance tailored to the needs of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants.
Through one-to-one meetings, group workshops, and community outreach, SICAP staff work to build trust and offer personalised support to help individuals access services, improve their language skills, and connect with employment, education, and community opportunities.
The aim is to promote social inclusion, independence, and equal access for all newcomers.
