About

SICAP Migrant Service is an advocacy and supports service for migrants, asylum seekers and refugees who are unable to self-advocate due to poor English language competency or for any other reason.

The service is strictly confidential and is delivered on a one-to-one basis.

Key Supports

We support by providing information, guidance and support to members of our new communities with a comprehensive range of issues such as:
  • Rights and entitlements of migrants and their family members
  • Immigration schemes and programmes
  • Permissions to work, study and reside in the state
  • Employment Permits
  • Applications for Citizenship/Naturalisation
  • Chang of immigration status
  • Residency under EU Treaty Rights
  • Long-term/ permanent residency
  • Irish visas
  • Family reunification
  • Voluntary return
Migrant right service also provides guidance and support around accessing key local and national services and arranges referrals to appropriate organisations on issues such as employment support, education and training, health, domestic abuse, etc.
